Summer is the time when we most enjoy spending time outdoors, basking in the warm and sunny weather. However, too much exposure to UV radiation can have serious consequences for the skin. As a cosmetics manufacturer, we understand the importance of education on sun protection.

🔹Consumer Education🔹

An important aspect of our work is educating consumers. We want each of our customers to know how to properly use sun protection products to achieve maximum protection.

🔹MG Evolution® Priorities🔹

As a cosmetics manufacturer, our priority is not only to create effective products but also to raise awareness about proper skin care and sun protection. Caring for our customers’ skin is our top priority, which is why we continually develop and educate consumers.

Together with Dr. Sławomir Wilczyński, PhD in Pharmacy, we create educational materials that cover various aspects of skin care and protection.

In the latest material, Dr. Sławomir Wilczyński, PhD in Pharmacy, discusses which products to choose for proper skin protection.

He addresses the amount of product that should be applied and compares theoretical recommendations with practices commonly used by consumers.

We believe that only through proper knowledge and practice can we effectively protect the skin from harmful sun exposure.

Let’s take care of our skin’s health together – education and informed choices are the foundation of effective sun protection.

🔹Meanwhile, find out why sun protection is so important🔹

UV radiation that reaches our skin is divided into three main types: UVA, UVB, and UVC. UVA and UVB have the greatest impact on our skin’s health:

UVA penetrates deep into the skin, contributing to premature aging, wrinkle formation, and an increased risk of skin cancer.
UVB is responsible for sunburns and is strongly linked to the development of skin cancer.

🔹Key Sun Protection Tips🔹

Appropriate Amount: To be effective, sunscreen should be applied at least 2 mg per cm² of skin. For an adult, this means about 30 ml of cream for the entire body.
Application Frequency: Sunscreen should be reapplied every 2 hours, as well as after swimming, intense sweating, or towel drying.
Choosing the Right SPF: Selecting a product with the appropriate SPF (Sun Protection Factor) is crucial. Both for daily use and during intense sun exposure, such as at the beach, we recommend products with the highest possible SPF, such as SPF 50+.
Application Before Going Out: The cream should be applied to the skin about 15-30 minutes before planned sun exposure to allow it to be properly absorbed.
