Polish beauty is growing. Cosmetics manufacturing for global markets

Poland's cosmetics industry continues to strengthen its position in Europe and worldwide. The latest figures reveal more than market growth alone. They reflect the scale of expertise that has developed around cosmetics manufacturing – from R&D and technology to quality, regulatory compliance, contract manufacturing and exports.

According to the Kosmetyczna Polska 2026 report by the Polish Union of Cosmetics Industry and WiseEuropa, the Polish cosmetics market reached €6.4 billion in 2025, growing by 9.3% year on year, compared with 4.8% growth across the European Union.

Poland is now the 5th largest cosmetics market in the EU, accounting for approximately 7% of its total value.

More than €6.5 billion in cosmetics exports

Poland's international position becomes even more apparent when we look at exports.

In 2025, Polish cosmetics exports exceeded €6.5 billion, increasing by 16.7% year on year. Poland now ranks 8th among the world's largest cosmetics exporters, accounting for approximately 4.3% of global cosmetics exports.

This is an important signal not only for Polish beauty brands.

Behind every product entering an international market is an entire process: formulation development, raw material and packaging selection, testing, regulatory documentation, scale-up, bulk manufacturing, filling, packaging and quality control.

Growing exports therefore also tell the story of Poland's expanding technological and manufacturing capabilities.

Contract manufacturing as part of Poland's beauty industry

The growth of the cosmetics market does not mean that every beauty company needs its own manufacturing facility or R&D laboratory.

Specialised cosmetics contract manufacturing gives companies access to existing infrastructure, technology and expertise while allowing them to focus on developing their brands and product portfolios.

A successful cosmetic product requires more than an interesting concept or innovative formulation.

A formula developed in the laboratory must be successfully transferred to a larger scale while maintaining its required parameters and ensuring consistency between production batches.

Regulatory requirements, testing, formula-packaging compatibility, filling processes and quality control are equally important parts of bringing a product to market.

This combination of R&D expertise and manufacturing capabilities is becoming an increasingly important element of contract manufacturing.

From a laboratory in Poland to products reaching global markets

At MG Evolution, we experience the international development of the beauty industry through our everyday work.

As a contract manufacturer, we work with companies from Poland and abroad, developing and manufacturing cosmetics and medical devices. Products manufactured at our facility go on to reach markets around the world.

A project may begin with an idea for a new product or the development of a custom formulation, but bringing that concept to market requires expertise across multiple stages.

Our in-house R&D laboratories, experienced team of technologists, 30–1,000 kg scale-up capabilities, quality management systems and manufacturing and filling infrastructure allow us to support projects from formulation development to the finished product.

Depending on the project, cooperation may include custom formulation development, Private Label or White Label solutions, contract manufacturing, testing and regulatory support, bulk manufacturing, filling and packaging.

Made in Poland. Built for global markets.

Poland's position among the world's leading cosmetics exporters has not been built in a single year.

It reflects the development of an entire industry – brands, manufacturers, laboratories, raw material and packaging suppliers, regulatory specialists and companies responsible for the many stages required to bring a cosmetic product to market.

For international companies, this means access to an increasingly advanced manufacturing base within the European Union. For Polish manufacturers, it creates an opportunity to compete not only through production capacity, but through technology, quality, expertise and know-how.

Polish beauty is growing. And with it, the global presence of products developed and manufactured in Poland continues to expand.
